Remember all the squeeing and rekindled love I've had for Grey's Anatomy this season? Um, well....I'm about to take it all back.

Anyway.

In other TV news (without mentioning spoilers because I'm too lazy to make an LJ cut) the scene in last night's 'Bones' with a certain character shoving another character off a chair...was one of the most delightful things I've ever seen. I practically giggled my way off the couch.

I know, it's been forever since I posted. I've been traveling (Vegas and LA were AWESOME....more details later) and I've been working a lot or hours (which is good because overtime is always lovely).

I just had to post this teensy little spoiler about Bones:

Enjoy if you haven't already heard about it :) Times like these I have a love/hate relationship with spoilers because I start to think crazy thoughts as to how the episode plays out!

Now I'm off to sleep. Nighty night. *hugs to flist*

*So Isaiah Washington checked himself into rehab. (Rolls eyes). Since I have nothing nice to say about this man at the time being, I think I'll just be moving on.

*I miss Bones. What it's been, 6 weeks since our last new episode? I'm so excited about it coming back Wednesday, and Michael Ausiello's column is making me look forward to it even more:

*I just finished watching the 3rd season of Angel over the weekend:

The season as a whole was -okay-. There were definitely some great moments, but overall it wasn't the finest bunch of episodes I've seen.

*Squee for Veronica Mars last night!

*Does anyone on my flist watch Friday Night Lights? I'm falling a little bit more in love with it each week.

*My cable isn't working, and a tech won't be able to come out until next week. (Sniff).

*I went to my martial arts class today for the first time in weeks. I was nervous to go back because of how I couldn't finish the class the last time, but today was really good :) I forgot how much I missed it.

How I've been spending my unemployed time:

It hasn't sunk in yet that I'm not working. It feels as if I'm just on vacation, especially since the girl who replaced me emails or calls me when she has a question. It's just a weird feeling.

Now for the TV Talk:

*Bones - I was a little hesitant about the show this season, especially since I heard they were bringing a new boss in....but I think I'm more in love with it this time around. The acting and characters are getting stronger, and the storylines are more interesting (last season the cases used to confuse me, but this time, I'm actually able to follow them).  And just as long as the new boss doesn't take screen time away from the 'squints' , I could like her sticking around.  She brings another dynamic to the Booth/Brennan relationship...I love watching Booth defend Brennan, and Brennan standing up to herself to Cam.

David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel totally tease the audience with their behavior, and I'm loving every single minute of it :)  And the writers know what they're doing when they're teasing us, and they're doing it deliciously well.

*I CAN NOT wait until Grey's Anatomy comes back on. I actually haven't been reading that many spoilers on it because with that show....the spoilers make it sound like a sleazy soap opera, but when you actually watch it, the storylines are just so well done. I'd rather be surprised this time around.

*I'm so addicted to my Buffy DVDs, that's it's becoming annoying. My day doesn't feel complete unless I watch at least one episode.  I'm halfway through Season 4, and since that runs with the first season of Angel, I've been watching that as well.  I can't get over how -good- these two show are. What was I thinking not watching them when they were still on?

*I just wanted to remind everyone that tonight is the second season premiere of Bones :) If you enjoy lots of sexual tension and bantering between characters, then I highly recommend watching it :)

My shower is broken for the time being, so I'm stuck home for the afternoon. I'm a little annoyed since I want (need) to go shopping, so I'm just going to have to wait until tomorrow. Unfortunately, the weather forecast says thunderstorms for Sunday, so I don't know what I'll be doing.

So far, 2 of of my favorite shows had their season finales:

Bones )

*In other news, I got tickets for the American Idol tour :) The concert's in July and I'm so excited! Tickets went on sale this morning and of course I overslept because I went out last night.  I was still able to find tickets, but ticketmaster kept rejecting my credit card. I then ended up losing the tickets they were holding for me. My friend from work called me in the midst of all this, and witnessed me yelling at my computer for missing out on the tickets for something so dumb.

Luckily the Idols will be in NY for more than one night, so I was able to find tickets and a credit card that ticketmaster approved of. Whew!

*As I mentioned before, I went out last night after work with my best friend to this nice restaurant here in Astoria. They have 2 for 1 drink specials on Friday nights for ladies, so I had a Coconut Mint Mojito. I was planning on having a second one, but one was more than enough. It was good, but the mixture of coconut flavoring and mint was a bit overpowering so I couldn't finish it.

I love exotic drinks :) They're more fun than my standard Corona or Bacardi Limon and Sprite. The only problem is that they are very hit-or-miss (not to mention expensive) so I don't drink them too often.
